Allina Health pixel settlement: $12.5M for patients and portal users, no documents

By ClaimBridge Team

If you were an Allina Health patient — or used Allina's website, MyChart patient portal, online bill pay, or online scheduling — at any point between September 16, 2018 and May 11, 2026, you can claim a cash share of a $12.5 million settlement with no documents at all. Claims are due September 8, 2026.

What this settlement is about

Ahlers v. Allina Health System (D. Minn., No. 0:24-cv-03674) alleged that tracking pixels on Allina's web properties transmitted patients' personal and health information to Meta, Google, and other third parties without consent. Allina, the Minneapolis-based health system serving Minnesota and western Wisconsin, denies wrongdoing.

Who qualifies and how much

Two groups split separate funds: people who used the portal, online bill pay, or online scheduling share about $10.3 million, and other Allina patients share about $2.2 million. Every approved claimant gets an equal share of their group's fund. The final amount depends on claim volume — realistically tens of dollars, more if fewer people file.

How to file

The online form takes the 8-digit Claimant ID from your mailed or emailed notice plus your last name; lost the notice? The administrator retrieves your ID at 1-800-956-7192. Online filers choose Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, or ACH — mailed claims pay by check. ClaimBridge lays out what registering takes and readies your registration as a class member. The official settlement site is allinapixelsettlement.com. The deadline is September 8, 2026.
