Owners and former owners of 2009–2016 Mercedes and Sprinter BlueTEC diesels can collect $2,000 for having the free Approved Emission Modification installed. The installation deadline is August 31, 2026; the claim is due September 30.

Hyundai/Kia theft settlement: up to $4,500 — but only if the free upgrade was already done
The 2011–2022 Hyundai and Kia models built without an engine immobilizer are covered by a multistate settlement paying up to $4,500. Two conditions decide it, and most coverage skips the second: the theft must be on or after April 29, 2025, and the free anti-theft software upgrade must already have been installed.
