Discover's $1.23 billion merchant settlement — over consumer credit cards allegedly misclassified as higher-fee 'commercial' cards from 2007 onward — closed to claims on May 18, 2026, and the fund is now moving through processing toward distribution. A minimum of $540 million goes to the class.
