Physicians, hospitals, and other providers alleged the Blue Cross Blue Shield licensing structure suppressed reimbursement rates. The $2.8B fund is split 92% to healthcare facilities and 8% to medical professionals, calculated from the value of claims paid by Blue plans during the class period. The claim deadline was July 29, 2025; the administrator will not honor untimely claims absent good cause. ClaimBridge assists claimants who already filed.
