Biddle v. The Walt Disney Company alleged Disney leveraged control of ESPN and other must-have programming to impose carriage terms that inflated the price of live TV streaming services. The $50 million partial settlement covers U.S. subscribers who paid for YouTube TV or DirecTV Stream (including DirecTV Now / AT&T TV Now) between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2026. Payment is pro rata by subscription length, and no documentation is required — class members self-certify their subscription months under penalty of perjury. Claims are due September 8, 2026; the final approval hearing is January 14, 2027, and payment is contingent on approval. What you can claim: a pro-rata share of a $50 million partial settlement, sized by how long you subscribed to YouTube TV or DirecTV Stream — one claim form covers both, and you are paid for each. Where you lived matters more than anything else you can control: 90% of the net fund goes to class members who lived in one of 39 "repealer" jurisdictions (including California, New York and Florida) at any point in the class period, and the remaining 10% is split among everyone else. No documentation tier exists and the administrator publishes no per-person figure. You need the Unique ID and PIN from your mailed or emailed notice to file online. If you never got a notice or cannot find it, call the administrator at (877) 704-2517 and give the auto attendant your name and address — they will mail one to you.

Who is eligible?

• You paid for a YouTube TV subscription in the U.S. between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2026, or
• You paid for DirecTV Stream (formerly DirecTV Now / AT&T TV Now) during that period.
