FitOn Video Privacy
Against FitOn, Inc.
FitOn, the free fitness-video app, allegedly shared subscribers' video-viewing history with third parties without consent, violating the Video Privacy Protection Act. Anyone in the U.S. with a FitOn account who watched at least one video between October 2022 and May 2026 can claim $10 cash, no proof — claims due August 31, 2026.
About this settlement
The Kings County, New York settlement (Index No. 542301/2025, before Hon. Saul Stein) resolved claims that FitOn shared account holders' video-viewing data with third parties without the consent the federal Video Privacy Protection Act requires; FitOn denies wrongdoing. The $2,500,000 fund pays every approved claimant $10 — reduced pro rata if approved claims exceed the fund after fees and administration. The class is anyone in the United States who held a FitOn account and watched or acquired at least one video on a FitOn video platform between October 22, 2022 and May 29, 2026; no documentation is required. Online filing uses the Login ID and PIN from the emailed notice; without a notice you can still file by mailing the printable claim form. Payment by check, PayPal, or Venmo. Claims (and exclusions) are due August 31, 2026; the final approval hearing is October 6, 2026. ClaimBridge lays out what registering takes and readies your registration as a class member. What you can claim: $10, and that is the whole of it — there is no documented-loss tier and nothing to upload. The only thing that can change the number is volume: if approved claims exceed the $2,500,000 net benefit cap, every payment is reduced proportionally. Filing online needs the LoginID and PIN from the email notice; if you can't find them the administrator will reissue them.
